To mark World Diabetes Day on 14 November the Northern Ireland Diabetes Network launched its first quarterly newsletter.
Aimed at highlighting the Network’s developments and achievements, the first edition includes information about the work of the Digital Sub-Group, highlights the role of a service user/carer representative and gives partner updates from the Public Health Agency and Diabetes UKNI.
Dr Hamish Courtney, Network clinical director, said the new publication will enable stakeholders to stay up-to-date about the work of the Network and its supporting groups.
The Diabetes Network brings together people living with diabetes, carers, and health and social care professionals working in partnership to improve the health and well-being of those living with diabetes across the region.
