A spokesperson for Health and Social Care (HSC) organisations said:
“The disruption to Health and Social Care Services, which we experienced this week across all Trust areas, as a result of ongoing Industrial Action, is expected to continue next week (week commencing 9th December).
“Further action is planned by UNISON next week. The Royal College of Nursing are also planning industrial action short of strike for 48 hours from 10th to 11th December 2019.
“All Health and Social Care organisations will continue to work closely together to mitigate the effects of any disruption from industrial action with a strong focus on patient safety.
“We apologise for the stress and anxiety caused to all those patients, clients and family members who have been and may be affected.”
